Freddie Forever πŸ–€

Freddie mercury  was born on 5th september in 1946. He was a british singer, song writter, record producer and the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. He regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of  rock music.he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Mercury defied the conventions of a rock frontman, with his highly theatrical style influencing the artistic direction of Queen.

He is a performer who revolutionized world music. I like his personality the most. He had a vocal range of about 4 octaves. He wanted to give the audience different flavors from Freddy's songs. I love his song   "Love of my life"In 2018, a biographical film was made about him. Its name is Bohemian Rhapsody. If you really love music, this is a must watch movie. My interest in him also increased after watching it. The confidence he had and the fearlessness to do new things was amazing.

Whatever his life, he was passionate about music. That was his life. Freddie died in 1991 of an allergy to HlV AIDS. I was very inspired by him. Although he died, his songs are immortal.

Lets unite as Sri lankans

There are different ethnic groups living in my country. Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims, and in addition there are different ethnic groups. I am of the view that the unity of all these communities is important for the progress of our country to succeed. It is a well known fact that there were various ethnic conflicts and war situations in our country at different times. They were based on different political motives.Everyone living in our country has a right to this country, regardless of race or ethnicity. I hate to see other races as minorities. All are citizens with equal rights, whether minority or majority. All are Sri Lankans

We have a duty to future generations in our country to oppose these racist divisions. As long as we are divided, our country will not move forward. Various rulers from time to time raise this issue for narrow political purposes. However, as citizens of this country we have a duty to act in unity. These problems do not arise when one has respect for the other.
Let us all work together to build our country without division.

Star light

One day I was staring at the sky

The stars in the sky are shining

Like a star yellow floral decoration in the black sky

Suddenly I felt the brightness of the stars diminishing

I was scared Something I saw as the starlight faded

Suddenly a huge light in the distant sky came rushing towards me like a fireball

I realized I was drawn to it

I screamed and shouted to save myself

but no one came and constantly pulled meout

Suddenly I heard a familiar voice

"Son, get up now." "Do you have lectures today?"

That's my momπŸ˜‚❤️

The strange gate

The strange gate

At first glance it looks like a gate,

but it's a strange gate.

That gate is in a great "Punya bhumi".
There are people who know about it. If you tell strangers, it's the gate on the Kannangare grounds in Matugama.

How many footprints have been left near that gate since then? On the mainland. I'm not heard from anyone who walked in there. That gate is the closest place to me. As a kid, I used to love watching it unfold. It's weird because of its strange shape.

It's not normal, so it's amazing to be there. Then there was an Aralia tree at that time by the field inside the gate. We waited under the shade of the Araliya tree until Dad or Mom left  us for school.

This strange gate still protects our school children today. Even though we are out of school now, we still love that past. I hung on this gate and waited for my parents to come. Then when I grew up I waited for my beautiful girlfriend to come. Things like that will still happen. Memories are so beautiful. Loved the strange gate forever❤️

THE LAST SHIP 🚒

One of my favorite TV series is The Last Ship which is so interesting that I watched all 5 seasons on it in 4 days. The way the climax of the story flows and the way it arouses the curiosity of the viewer is one of the best I've ever seen. Throughout the conversation, the story revolves around a group of US Navy ships saving the world while the world is being wiped out by a virus and other adventures they face. I was really addicted to this story. The reason is that all the characters in this do maximum justice to the story. In fact, we unknowingly begin to love them.

Tom Chandler is the protagonist of this story. He is a very talented captain and a very experienced brave man.Not only that, but the characters of Sarah, Nolan, Greene, Rachel are also very special. Many of these characters die at the end of this drama series. So sometimes it's very sad to watch this. I'm not going to spoil too much, be sure to check out this is a really great Drama Series

Smart phone & Smart future πŸ–‹️

One of the problems facing the younger generation today is the widespread addiction to mobile phones. With the introduction of smartphones to the world, the human lifestyle has been able to turn 360 degrees upside down. Because of the versatility of these smartphones, many things can be done, Today's telephones are used not only for communication but also for entertainment, knowledge, transactions and even employment.

Yes there are many benefits to smartphones but we are addicted to them. We forget our loved ones and miss a lot of things because of this and a lot of people today have become mentally ill. In fact, we're not in the habit of using the phone more than we need to, but we're used to using it only for needs.

The smart phone is not just one thing in life, why do we spend all our time staring at a screen? We miss a lot of things. The advantages of a mobile phone are many, yes it is real and the disadvantages are the same. Let's get rid of the negative things in our lives and get used to living a beautiful life and build a physically and mentally healthy society

Homies πŸƒ

The journey will be difficult, ignorance will make it bitter.

But there is no turning back on our journey.

It is the season of light showers and thunderstorms.

The environment is something that does not change anyway.

I have a motivation, I have a catalyst.
Simply put, we are never alone. πŸ–€

Sigiriya

I went to see Sigiriya a few years ago. Of course it was an amazing creation. No one has yet figured out where that technology came from thousands of years ago. That is why I wanted to make this note about Sigiriya.

Sigiriya is an ancient rock forttess. It was bilt by king kasyapa. Sigiriya is world-famous for its frescoes. Foreign tourists who come to Sri Lanka never fail to visit Sigiriya. It is a place of archaeological and historical value.
We can see the graffiti or verses on the mirror wall. These verses had been written by the ancient visitors. These verses help us learn about the evolution and development of our language. There are nearly 700 such verses on this mirror wall. Although king Kassapa is regarded as a pesticide, he was a lover of art. That’s why he had created such a beautiful fortress with attractive paintings of beautiful ladies.

We have to climb up the rock along with a flight of steps through the mouth of a large carved lion. That’s why it is called Sinha Giri or sigiri. The rock is 600ft – in height, there are ruins of an ancient place on the top of the rock. There is also a moat around the rock. Sigiriya is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world.

Shramadana campaign

Last week there was a shramadana campaign in our village. It was organized by the youth club. The main objective of the campaign was to repair the road leading to our village. The road was in a dilapidated condition. It had not been repaired for a number of years. It was full of potholes.

By 7.00 a.m. nearly seventy-five members of the youth club gathered near the school. They were very enthusiastic. They had brought implements like mammaries, crowbars and spades. The youth service officer in the area too took part in this sharamadana campaingn. The members were divided into three groups. Each group was entrusted with a different task.

The first group cleared the jungle on either side of the road. They also cut down the overhanging branches of the trees. The second group filled the potholes with earth. They cleaned the culverts too. The third group cleaned the side drins on either side of the road.

Work was stopped for lunch at 1.00 p.m. when the groups stopped their work for lunch, most of the work entrusted to them were completed. Work was resumed at about 2.30 p.m. they were able to complete the entire work by 6.00 p.m.

After the work was over. The youth services officer gave a pep talk expressing the value of teamwork. This secretary of the youth club thanked all the members for their kind co-operation.

Maiya & Cricket

In fact, I'm a huge cricket fan. No wonder Sri Lanka is a country where cricket has become a craze. The whole world is talking about Sri Lanka because of cricket. Winning the 1996 World Cup marked the beginning of the golden age of cricket in Sri Lanka. I started watching cricket at a very young age in 2006. My father was also a good cricket fan. Later I was tempted to play cricket. I had heroes like Mahela, Sanga, Dilshan, Malinga, Rangana, Murali, Angie, Kule and all the other cricketers.

Out of love for them, I called them by their short names. My favorite cricketer is Mahela Jayawardene. Mahela is affectionately known as "Maiya" by the national team. Last year, his name was added to the list of the greatest cricketers the world has ever seen. he is one of the most talented right-handed batsmen in the world. He was a big winner for Sri Lanka for 17 years.I like "Maiya's" personality and his majesty. Mahela Jayawardena is a real gentleman. That is why he was even awarded the Most Vital Athlete of the Year award I will never forget the day Mahela retired from cricket. The last time he came to the stadium, tears welled up in my eyes.I have a lot of respect not only for Mahela but for all the other players. We cannot say that they are dedicated and win the competitions and bring happiness to our hearts.

Cricket is not just a game to me, it's something that has become ingrained in life Cricket is not just a game, cricket is a religion for our people Despite tears in our eyes when we lost, the whole of Sri Lanka is waiting for our colonialists to rise up again and win.

Kanthale diaries

Just the other day I was able to make another beautiful visit to Kantale, the hometown of my university friend Prabath  Several other friends from our campus joined us. I reached Kantale town after a long bus journey from 8 am to 1 pm. The first day Prabhat took us to a paddy field in the middle of a jungle. We spent the night in a hut in that paddy field. Our dinner consisted of fresh corn and peanuts from the same village. There was also meat, coconut bread, fruit and much more. We sang and lit up the night. Spending the night in a place like that was a wonderful experience.

The next morning we got up, ate and went to bathe in the Kantale lake. We spent the evening by the lake.Kantale lake is very big. A large area is nourished by that lake. Not only that, I feel very relaxed while sitting on the lake floor.

We had the same fun that day and the next morning we headed back home. Many thanks to Prabhat and his brother for their hospitality. We were treated very highly.

The teardropπŸ€

There is the life of a poet

Possesses excruciating pain
So poets die
With a smiling face ...

Love is a feeling.

A bond,
When there is a break
There is a taste

So mydear,
When caught in a drought and broken
Love raindrops will look beautiful too.
Be careful, Storms will come
with the rain of love.
