Journey to heaven🤩

 Journey to Heaven

A few days after finishing A / L, a group of my friends and I decided to go on a day trip to Nuwara Eliya, Horton Plains, all around and finally climb a mountain the next day and camp at home. We went to climb Wangedigala mountain.
Wangedigala is one of the best camping and hiking locations situated close to kalupahana area. It takes 2:30/ 3 hours
From the main road to reach the wangedigala Veiwpoint.

However, by the time we got t
o Kandanaginna, it was almost 6:30 pm.There was a small shop. The aunt at the shop told us, "Boys, it's dangerous to go at this time, so don't go."
We started climbing the mountain in the dark without hearing it. One of my friends had climbed this mountain before so we had nothing to fear. We lit a big torch and started climbing. It was not easy to climb the mountain with big bags. It's getting colder and colder. We barely made it back and after about 2 hours we climbed to the top at about 8:30 pm.

We quickly set up our tents and started a fire. I felt like I was on top of an ice cube. Somehow I made noodles for dinner .There were only a few bottles of beer left .We finished eating and drinking beer and dancing around the fire.

I don't really remember how I slept but it was a good night's sleep. When I woke up I was amazed .It was the most beautiful environment I had ever seen .I could not believe what I saw in the morning because we came at night.I thought this was heaven. The environment where the sun goes down and the green glows, and at the same time the fog is something that really goes beyond beauty

Is this really heaven? Thinking we had to come here again, we left at noon to come back

Memorable recording days

 Memorable recording days

This blog is about two wonderful  recording days I attended.

📅Dates:-  13th july 2021 & 28th july 2021

I got this opportunity because of my beloved teacher. He is Asanka dhananjaya liyanarachchi. An audio and video recording of a song produced by a project to eradicate the corona epidemic was held here. The song was written, directed and produced by veteran lyricist Bandula Nanayakkarawasam and the music was directed by one of the great musician  Sir Sarath de Alwis. The lead singers were legendary singer Mr. Amarasiri Peiris and my teacher Mr. Asanka Liyanarachchi.

I had the opportunity to contribute to this creation by joining hands with a few other senior students from our university and a few of my friends. It's really a place where I have a lot to learn .By working with them, I had the opportunity to get to know them and their experience.

Visual recordings were held at various locations in Colombo

🚶Filming locations-:

Visual impact vedio production house
Boralla cemetery
Pettah

Filming took place at the above locations from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Although I had previously contributed a small number of voice recordings, this was the first time  i saw that a production team of about 60 had participated in such a large-scale shoot. That day I saw a huge crowd contributing from behind the scenes to the artwork we see in front of a screen.I realized that the contribution of all of them was an essential factor in the success of an artwork.

Those two days were a bit tiring but I didn't feel it because I had a lot of fun with the group. When it was all over I got in my car and left to come home in the middle of the night .Colombo is very beautiful at night I love to drive at night. I am so thankful that my teacher gave me this opportunity, and I am very happy to remember it today.

Here is the link of that song.
